Ricky Robert’s improved Safety Bench
Our resident GURU of innovation and invention has refined and enhanced the popular RC Safety Bench.

With the wing uprights in place

Stab restraint in place and Wing Restraints stored.

Extra holes are provided for the stab restraint position
“Field Noise Limit: No model aircraft shall be flown that generates more than 96-dB(A) sound level on the ground @ full throttle. Aircraft sound level is to be measured at 25 feet distance, over grass surface (runway), with the meter in line with the prop and 24 inches above ground level. The meter settings shall be “A” weighting scale and “Slow” response. Measurements shall be taken both upwind and downwind from the model and averaged for the official result.”
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, 7:00 PM at the Graham Library unless otherwise announced in the Newsletter.
Directions to the Library:
From I- 85/I-40 take Exit 147 North toward the courthouse. The library is 0.5 mile from I- 85 on the left. It is also just past a very yellow building. Exit 147 is also Route 87.
The annual dues at Barks are $75 per year. There is a
provision for “Junior Memberships” for those still in school who are sponsored
by a full member for $1 per year. There a few “Life Memberships” that have been
awarded by the membership for outstanding service to the club.
Memberships that have not renewed at the specified time are treated as new
memberships and must include $25 initiation fee. Junior Memberships are not
subject to the initiation fee. There is no provision for a partial year
membership.

Bark's is in the process of including frequency pins for Spread Spectrum transmitters. When they are in place at the flying sites they must be used just as the numbered channels.
